Binance Opens Nominations for its Annual Awards ‘Blockchain 100’ and Expands to Finance Creators

Public nominations open October 13, 2026; community voting on Binance Square runs October 19–28; winners to be announced October 29 ahead of the awards ceremony on November 29 at Binance Blockchain Week 2026 in Bangkok.

Binance announced the second edition of The Blockchain 100, its annual recognizing creators across the financial industry. The 2026 edition expands eligibility to creators leading in both the digital and traditional finance industry.

The Blockchain 100 was launched in 2025 to recognize creators whose work contributes to public understanding of blockchain technology, digital assets, and financial markets. The inaugural edition recognized 100 creators across seven categories: Industry Advocate, Independent Researcher, Trader, Community Builder, Video and Live Creator, Crypto Press, and Rising Star.

For the 2026 awards, eligibility extends beyond cryptocurrency to include creators covering traditional finance. The awards continue to recognize creators working across formats including market analysis, research, educational video, and community discussion.

Program Timeline:

  • Nominations: October 13–16, 2026. Community members may submit nominations; self-nominations are permitted.
  • Community voting: October 19–28, 2026, on Binance Square. Verified Binance users who have completed Know Your Customer (KYC) verification may cast one vote per award track per day.
  • Winners announced: October 29, 2026.
  • Awards ceremony: November 29, 2026, during Binance Blockchain Week 2026.

Community participation is a central part of The Blockchain 100. Through nominations and voting, audiences help identify creators whose work they value, giving the wider community a role in determining who receives recognition.

The 2026 program combines the annual awards with a video interview series in which guests discuss their work, professional backgrounds, and industry developments. The Blockchain 100 video interview series runs throughout the year. Past guests include Arthur Hayes, Benjamin Cowen, Wendy O, Eleanor Terrett, and Silvio Micali, representing backgrounds in trading, research, journalism, and blockchain technology.
