The Ceylon Electricity Board has requested for a 12 hour power cut for Friday, which was approved by the PUCSL. Accordingly, areas A,B,C,D,F will receive a 2 hour power cut from 4am to 6am, 4 hours from 8am to 12pm and 6 hours from 4pm to 10pm.
Areas G,H,I,J,K,L – 2 hours from 6am to 8am, 4 hours from 12pm to 4pm and 6 hours from 6pm to 12am.
Areas P,Q,R,S – 2 hours from 4am to 6am, 4 hours from 8am to 12pm and 6 hours from 4pm to 10pm.
Areas T,U,V,W – 2 hours from 6am to 8am, 4 hours from 12pm to 4pm and 6 hours from 6pm to 12pm.
Areas M,N,O,X,Y,Z – 3 hours and 30 minutes from 5.30am to 9pm and 2 hours from 4pm to 6pm.
